About the wedding venue – Unique Wedding Venue – Die Woud
Unique Wedding Venue – Die Woud. And my word what a venue! This was my first time photographing a wedding at Die Woud and it is officially my wife’s favorite wedding venue. This unique wedding venue is in perfect harmony with nature and gives you the feeling of an enchanted forest. You can hear the birds and flow of the stream as you say your wedding “I do’s”.
As a top wedding photographer based in Cape Town one gets to do a lot of beach and vineyard photos so to have a wedding venue truly unique was exciting.
There is an ‘open-air-church’ where guests are seated in between the towering wattle trees. Wedding guests make their way through a tranquil nature walk towards the wooden alter which is a vision from a fairytale. Have a look at the wedding photos and you will see why this is the perfect unique wedding location.
You have the choice of open-air dining if weather is predictable or you can choose a clear PVC marquee tent which will allow you to still be a part of the outside setting.
Die Woud is a stone's throw away from the beautiful little town of Caledon, in the Overberg Western Cape. It is situated on the N2 national route only 113kms east of Cape Town’s city center.
Die Woud can accommodate 140 guests.
About this wedding
Jules and Louw were such an open and fun couple and it shows in the wedding photos.
I always say the time with your photographer should be a fun experience and that time dedicated to taking photos must be looked back on favorably. Take along some champagne and your wedding party and have some fun with your photographer. This is the last time in the evening you will be able to take it all before celebrating with your guests.
Enjoy the moment, kick off your wedding shoes and most of all have fun.
