Videographer in Cape Town - BCG - Workshop 17 With SA Cricketer, Wayne Parnell.
Stills pictures at events are fantastic for marketing. With today's social media, it's important to remain top of mind and current. If you don't, your competition will.
Two birds with one stone
Sometimes you need both video and stills to cover an event nicely. I specialise as a stills photographer but I have years of experience with video, so sometimes I do both. Many events have gaps, which is the perfect opportunity to capture your event in motion as well.
Workshop 17's launch
I recently shot an event for Boston Consulting Group (BCG). They launched with Workshop 17 at their incredible new space, the iconic Newlands Cricket Ground. Guests were lucky enough to meet Wayne Parnell, one of SA's best cricketers. It was an event that required stills as well as videography, so they searched for a videographer in Cape Town and found me.
Here's how it works
I shoot event stills but in between I also capture video clips as well. At the end of the event, I create a 30-60 second highlight clip like the one below; the impact is fantastic.
Stills and video, yes I can help.
If you're not sure whether your event needs both, let me help you. I have years of experience in the television and stills industry and I can advise on a solution that will work for you.
Conclusion
Stills and Video works well for smaller events, but if it's a big event, it's better to have over one person doing stills and one for videography, sometimes an entire crew.
