I've been photographing weddings since 2005. My approach is documentary first.
I stay out of the way until I'm needed, and I capture what's actually happening rather than what's staged for the camera.

Memories fade faster than people think. My job is to hold onto the version that's true: the laughter that wasn't planned, the look between you two when no one else was watching, the moment that happens once and is gone.

How I Work as Your Photographer

I blend in. Most of the day, you won't notice me working;  I'm capturing things as they unfold, not directing them. When I do prompt something, it's small. A comment, a bit of banter, something that gets a real reaction rather than a forced smile. If you're up for something a bit more creative, a portrait session that pushes further than the usual, I'm in. Some of my favourite wedding images came from couples who said yes to something a little different.

And when you want to push further

Documentary is where most of the day lives. But if you're up for it, I also do creative portrait work that looks like nothing else in your gallery; dramatic light, bold colour something with real impact. This isn't a forced "creative session" tacked onto the timeline. It's usually 15-20 minutes, somewhere on the property, where we slow down and do something a bit more deliberate.

These are often the images people print, frame, and keep coming back to.

Twenty years of weddings means I've seen most of what a wedding day can throw at you; bad weather, late schedules, nervous parents; and I stay calm through all of it.

I offer packages based on hours of coverage, starting from 5 hours up to a full day. Packages include an album, because the images deserve to exist somewhere other than a phone screen.
